Earl Hammond
Retired Military Electronics Technician & sole repairman

I have been to school for several electronic courses such as GE Factory training courses, Sears appliance training courses, and television repair courses to name a few. I have also had the pleasure of teaching electronic courses for over three and half years. In addition to my many years of courses, I have attended refrigeration, as well as A/C school.

I was born to a sharecropper family (cotton farmer). I was one of sixteen children. At the age of sixteen, I went to work full-time at a regional textile company, a cotton processing plant, in Trion, GA. I later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1954, and served until 1974. During my time in the Air Force, I attended numerous electronic schools, as well completing management courses. Five years before retiring from the Air Force, I studied and worked in the appliance repair field. Upon retiring in July of 1974, I began a very successful career working for General Electric Factory Service in Denver, CO. Then in November of 1975, I began A-Earl’s Appliance Service in Denver, CO. In November of 1992, I moved my family and business, now named Earl Appliance Repair, to Pensacola, FL. I have been servicing the greater Pensacola area till present day.

A Personal Note

My business is built on a personal basis. With Earl Appliance Repair, you are not a number, but a person. With Earl Appliance Repair, you will be treated with respect. As a former military member, Pensacola has been a unique town for me. I have had the pleasure of making relationships with a lot of active and former military members, and other like minded individuals.
